I have found a lot of really good Indie artists and every once in a
while, I find one that is a true gem. That's what Lorena Prater is, a true gem. This lady sings country
so well you'll swear she's got to be a "Nashville Star". I've got recordings of Patty Loveless
that can't even come close to the quality of this gal's voice, and I'm
a real Loveless fan!! All her three CD's "Dreamin'", "The Real Deal" and "What This Woman Wants"
are a must have. I'm very impressed with this lady's talent and hope that there'll be lots more to come in the future.

Lorena was absolutely WONDERFUL!
I
can’t say enough about her show, she is truly multi-talented. Lorena even
wrote a song especially for Kodak... VERY IMPRESSIVE!

"The Real Deal"
is an album that couples some great songs with the wonderful voice of Lorena
Prater. Do yourself a favour and pull out all the stops to get hold
of a copy of this excellent CD from a lady who truly is THE REAL DEAL ...

Lorena can strut
with head-turning style or soothe with heart warming care. The album is
a dazzler...

A reputable voice
from Comstock Records, Lorena Prater now has a second release after the
wonderfully acclaimed debut "Dreamin'" album. If you liked that, this will
be your wings to paradise. This is much better and a enjoyable treatment
for life. "The Real Deal" has 10 songs combining classic with new pieces.
Give a listen to "Senseless Devotion" and you'll know what this is, Great!

Nice vocals, good instrumentation. It's a pleasure to hear Lorena
again.

Lorena Prater
follows last year's extremely well received "Dreamin'" with The Real Deal.
The talented young lady revives old favorites "Bobby McGee", a great interpretaion,
and "Apartment # 9", laying these along side contemporary compositions
like "Boogie Woogie Cowboy Heart", Fleetwood Mac's "Don't Stop" and Lorena's
own "Senseless Devotion" and "The Real Deal". I suppose that last mentioned
song describes this lady. Lorena is the "The Real Deal".

Mrs. Prater’s versatility
shows by the pick of cover tunes on this album: an early Roy Orbison, a
Pam Tillis tune and a song from Janis Ian. The album holds 10 songs, most
of them written by Lorena herself. She has her own musical style but can
sing a rocker as well as a ballad. Class Act!

It is a real pleasure
that we discover Lorena Prater through Comstock Records. "Dreamin’" and
"Wish It Away" are our favorite songs from this nice album.

The album "Dreamin’" is
a dream to listen to. Lorena is the best new singer of ‘98 from an independent
label. Great beautiful album!

Excellent CD "Dreamin’"
I’m spinning it alot of times on Radio Carinzia and I will say my audience
response is great especially for the songs "Dreamin’", "Sheltered By Our
Love" and "Blue Bayou".

Solid, modern country
with real crossover potential. Lorena’s voice just sparkles with the perfect
blend of purity and experience. Just give a listen to her interpretation
of "Cleopatra, Queen of Denial." She’s got it all!
